Enhanced Login Security

Your online security has always been a top priority with the Credit Union.   The Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council, the regulators overseeing financial institutions, has advised that passwords alone will no longer be acceptable as the sole means of achieving online security.  We have upgraded your shareNet experience with a new security service, Enhanced Login Security, to further help protect you from identity theft. This FREE and easy feature strengthens security at login, providing additional peace of mind for you, the shareNet user.  You can access Enhance Login Security by going to "User Options" and selecting "Enhanced Login Security".

During the enrollment process a browser-based cookie with an individualized credential will be stored on the computer you use to access shareNet.  Once your first computer is enrolled, you may enroll as many computers as you like by simply logging into shareNet from additional computers, answering the Challenge Questions that you have already setup, going to “User Options”, and selecting “Enhanced Login Security”.  As well, you have the option to delete computers as you choose by accessing the same “Enhanced Login Security”.

At times you may find that you would like to access shareNet from an “un-enrolled” computer.  You can do this by answering the “Challenge Questions” , and being granted temporary access from this computer. If this is a computer that you will be using frequently, you can simply enroll it by going to “User Options” and selecting “Enhanced Login Security”.   For your added security, we do not advise that you enroll public computers, or those that you will use infrequently.

You are required to login to shareNet from an enrolled computer, or answer the Challenge Questions to access your account from a computer that is not enrolled.  Once a computer is enrolled, the next time you login using that computer, it will be business as usual.  The rest of your shareNet experience will remain exactly the same.  Access the Credit Union any time, anywhere – and have the peace of mind that you benefit from the added protection of Enhanced Login Security.
